My mom gets up at 7:00 a.m, but my dad gets up at 6:30 a.m.


My dad eats breakfast at 6:45 AM, but my mom eats breakfast at 8:00 because she does to laundry.

My dad goes to work at 8:00 am and my mom is cleans the house and washes the dishes.

My mom listens to music, makes food and watches TV.

4 Formulas For the Simple Present Tense.

I. Write the 4 Formulas For the Simple Present Tense.
1.Affirmative Structure: 

Subject + Verb + Complement .

2.Negative Structure: 

Subject + don't/doesn't + Verb + Complement .     

3.Interrogative Structure (if-yes / if-no): 

Do/ Does + Subject + Verb + Complement + ?    

II. Write 1 sentence and change 4 to all the forms.

Simple Present Tense

GRAMMAR. The simple present tense: spelling rules with he, she, it.


  • Add -s to most verbs with he, she, and it.
        gets     makes      shaves         combs        plays

  • Add -es to verbs that end in -s,-sh,-ch,   or -x.
        brushes       watches

  • But remember:    
       do -> does     
       go -> goes   
       have -> has   
       study -> studies
